Accountabilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and plans based on design specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with and engineers to develop design concepts and solutions.
• Utilize CAD software AutoCAD, SolidWorks (optional) to create and modify designs.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists and technical reports.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate design concepts effectively to team members and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to drafting and 3D modelling.
  
  

Job Specifications:

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience in Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in CAD software or relevant professional qualifications is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman, with a strong portfolio showcasing 2D and 3D work.
• Experience in manufacturing, electrical and rotating equipment.
  
  

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of engineering codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
  
  

 Skills:

• Familiarity with 3D and modelling techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
