YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria was appointed as Non- Independent, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the Company on 13 December 2019. He was subsequently redesignated as Executive Chairman on 14 May 2020, and later, on 8 September 2021, assumed his current role as Executive Chairman & President.

Tan Sri Norza Zakaria holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA) of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

He began his career in 1988 as a Senior Audit Assistant at Messrs. Arthur Andersen & Co. / Hanafiah, Raslan & Mohamad. In 1990, he joined Bank Negara Malaysia as an Executive in the Bank Regulation Department before moving to PETRONAS as a Senior Executive in Finance and Administration under the Gas and Petro chemical Development Division until 1994. He later became Group Financial Controller of SPK-Sentosa Corporation Berhad and served as Group General Manager of Audit at Mun Loong Berhad from 1995 to 1997.

From 1998 to 2004, Tan Sri Norza Zakaria was the Chief Executive Ogicer (CEO) of Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd. He also played a key role in the Government sector, serving as Political Secretary to the Minister of Finance II, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, from 2004 to 2008.

Since April 2008, he has been the Executive Chairman & President of TIZA Global Sdn Bhd (formerly known as CITAGLOBAL Sdn Bhd), leading the company’s growth and strategic direction.

Tan Sri Norza Zakaria is a leading advocate for sports development in Malaysia, playing a pivotal role in nurturing national athletes. As President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) and President of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), he has been instrumental in shaping the country’s sporting landscape.

He also serves as Co-Chairman of the Road to Gold (RTG) committee, an initiative by the Ministry of Youth and Sports aimed at securing Malaysia’s first Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Games. Additionally, he is the President of the Commonwealth Games Association of Malaysia (CGA Malaysia) and Board Member & Audit Committee Chairman of the National Sports Council (NSC).

Previously, Tan Sri Norza Zakaria held key positions in various sports organizations, including Chairperson of the National Sports Institute (NSI), Honorary Treasurer of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), President of the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Association (KLBA), and President of the Royal Malaysian Polo Association (RMPA).

Tan Sri Norza Zakaria is a major shareholder of the Company through his direct interest in TIZA Global Sdn Bhd (formerly known as CITAGLOBAL Sdn Bhd) and indirect interest in CITAGLOBAL Energy Resources Sdn Bhd, held via TIZA Global under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2016.

He demonstrated his commitment to the Company’s leadership by attending all 7 out of 7 Board of Directors’ meetings for the financial year ended 31 December 2022.
